Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Fantavision, a fireworks-simulation puzzle game developed and published in 2000 by Sony for the Playstation 2. One of the launch titles for the PS2, Fantavision is a tech demo evolved into a full game. Detonate fireworks, string them together with combos and chain reactions, and light up the night sky as you fly through cityscapes and even outer space. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Fantavision for the Playstation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s TJ.

theirs a sequel it called Futari No FantaVision
Wow this channel was the shit in 2011 , time flys .
So… it's like a reverse missile command……..?
This game was fun to me, especially with friends.
This is a great game, and a highly recommendation. "Fantavision" is still an interesting game with lots of fireworks to gain points. I played this game and it was fun. This game is the US version with a decent soundtrack. The Japanese version had a great soundtrack than the US version does. The Japanese version has the same cutscenes and the gameplay itself are basically the same.
I remember enjoying the game.
Especially the ost
You ain't lyin',….>HA HA HA!
I had this game as a kid, but I just did not have the brains to figure it out. Now I actually know how to play it thanks to your explanation, but now I don't have the game or a PS2. Or a PS4, for those who saw this game on PSN.
Best multiplayer fun I've had in years! Only if you can scream while playing though… (it definitely adds to the experience xD)
Americans Culture cant appreciate games like this
I'm not sure what you mean by "five playable levels", because I can get up to level 8 on my copy before seeing the end credits.
My thoughts on this game:
Fun, but so challenging. Seriously, I haven't beaten the 4th level yet, and I just got to it earlier today. It's hard, but so fun and addicting.
Music in Japanese version is much better!! This game is GREAT!!
Brilliantly addictive game. I've played it. 10 out of 10 for the programmers for this. So refreshing to see a game without murders, drugs and sex. (I even found simulated rape scenes in my 12 year-old nephew's computer game the other day – totally unacceptable) Let's have more games like Fantavision.
Fireworks at space? How does that works?
You can say that again.
the guy who makes the music is the same guy who made the ape escape music(soichi terada). also DANCING PYROS ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!
This game is a collector item
<3 Fantavision!
