The difference in knurling is probably just variation in manufacturing. Tool wear, different tool offset, tool pressure, etc.
Hello from Antalya Turkey Kevy. I have just ordered the Game Changer .84 open comb. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow or Friday. Will let you know how it performs. It's not the Jaws model but just the open comb.
Hi sir, razorock gamechanger is better than karve christopher bradley? 10x
Great video, wish I would have this seen before I started with the GC .84 (shaving myself for the first time with a DE razor). Though I managed not to cut myself too often I see many things to improve while going over your video's, really good. All the best from Utrecht, Sander
Have you tried the RazoRock Mamba or Mamba .70, Kevy? I would be interested in knowing how they compare to the Game Changer .68
NOW that's a lather. Whipped up really nice lather, I think I'm the only one with out the Proraso soap, need to get the whole set in any one colour, oh not the sickest I heard while I was typing, I'll get the cream instead lol.
I'm usually an every other day shaver, and .68 gives me a bbs with smoothness I don't get from the .84 plate. The .84 shaves too close for me, not that it irritates, I'm just more comfortable using the .68. Using Rubie blades with both GC.
Great comparison: Just ordered a .68 in the same handle, currently $54.
Since seeing this a couple of days ago I decided to get the .68 due to being fairly new to de shaving and getting a fair bit of irritation so I thought I would get a second razor. Wrong, these are harder to find than unicorn poo lol. If any of yours subscribers know where to pick one up in the UK please post a link. Thank you.
How would you rate these against a Merkur 34c?
Hi Kevy
Razorock game changer is it mild razor what’s big deal about it..
Alan
Hey Kevy, which razor do you like better the gamechanger .84 or the ej 3one6?
Pre..shave..oil…WORKS! I usually lather and pass twice then check for residual slickness and do a 3rd pass with the residual and a touch of water added to face…Protects and improves skin texture-No irritation.
Kevy, great review of the Gamechanger razors. Both the Gamechangers and the Rockwell 6s, are great stainless steel razors for the price.
What are your thoughts on the Gamechanger .68 & .84 vs Rockwell 6?
Great review I have both razors .68p & .84p , I was a little scared of the .84p but I like it more it has more audible feedback just like you've said and way more efficient for less passes but not scary even going against. I shave once every week or two. Thanks love your reviews.
Nice comparison Kevy not many of us have both the .68 and the .84 Game Changers. Mine is the .84 and I consider it a level 4 on the one to ten aggression scale and my BEST razor I really love it.I am almost certain Razorock has discontinued the .68 Game Changer so the comparison now might not provide the choice. Okay for as I said the .84 is PERFECT ~! Kit
If you haven't been asked already, how do these Game Changers compare to EJ's 3ONE6 in your view?
Nice comparison Kevy, I have the .84 and love it, for me Astra blades work nice, but I bought treet blades to try next. I find the little bit of glue on the Astra blades make it a bit tough to remove the blade from the plate. The tolerances are very tight and really locks the blade in. Have you had any trouble with removing blades. After a while the glue goes away and find it a bit easier to remove.
I'm searching for a comment, "with Proraso, you can't go wrong! "
Thanks exactly what I wanted to know.
Great comparo, Kev. I dropped change in one if these .84 mm blade gapped beauties last week and it landed at my doorstep just today. I shaved with it loaded with a Nacet on a lather from a Wilkinson Sword 'Blue' stick soap this arvo and man let me tell you I fell in love with it – possibly my favourite razor (we shall see after a few repeat shaves). The blade was perfectly captured and the blade bevel was a flat as a tack. Very smooooooooth indeed. A great value for money stainless razor
Great shave Kevy, they sure do a good job mate! I still havnt pulled the trigger on the 6s or the Gamechanger.84 Wish I could buy both lol. I have the 2C and love the plate 3 but would like the 4 plate for a little more efficiency. And loving the nacets and silver blue blades. Have a great weekend buddy ☺️👍
Kevy, how do the two different blade gaps compare to a Merkur 34C?
Thinning the herd of shaving channels to which I subscribe. Happy to say that your channel is now one of two I watch. Really like your style, Kevy, AND your sense of humor.
As always, thanks so much for sharing.
Steve
I notice quite a difference when I use preshave as well. Fewer nicks and less irritation.
