Using the Illustrator shape builder tool to make a logo design, this is todays tutorial, the shape builder tool logo design in Illustrator. Learn how to use the shape builder tool to make this awesome logo in Illustrator!
It’s Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial; today we are looking at one of my favourite tools in Illustrator, and that is the shape builder tool. It is a very powerful tool indeed, and it is perfect for quickly designing logos that are either too intricate to make with the pen tool, or the logos themselves would take too long to do. The shape builder tool allows you to create unique and interesting vector shapes with ease, ideal for logo designs.
I show you how to use the shape builder tool and how to set up shapes for a specific logo design in todays tutorial. So follow along and using the shape builder tool for a logo design in Illustrator.

uhhh. this tutorial wasn't helpful. when i use the shape builder tool. i tried to mimick your combination, but everytime i do this, it overlaps one another and the shapebuilder tool shapes i made wasn't exact with yours…

Very good tutorial thanks
Great tip with the gradient effect! thanks!
thank u so much on this video i appreciate it
Pls in the future write that it is a tutorial for illustrator cc and not cs6! that's a huge difference!!! cs6 doesn't have features like cc. I spent watching this video just to realize that cs6 cannot connect shapes all at once

How do you think? Is it good way to use graidents on logo designing?
Because most deisgners think Graident is not useful because of printing process.
(Actually I like Gradient)
