A great video! I agree with everything except the seam ripper. I find that even if the seam ripper is sharp enough to cut the thread without yanking, I don't enjoy being left with 100s of pieces of thread. I prefer to release the bobbin thread by undoing the last stitch and then pulling it which unravels the stitching quickly. Also I keep a packet of hand sewing needles in my kit.
