Because VCRs are not widely available now & because some of the old VCR games were fun to play, I have decided to transfer them into a digital format. Please fell free to rescue these old abandoned games if they look like something you would want to play.
Contact me to see if I have the game at gamegumshoes@yahoo.com and then we’ll work on the transfer & Upload.
I make no money off of these videos as they are not mine, but you can watch my videos, like and subscribe to my channel, and watch the ads on other videos. It’s how we get paid.
If I find that this is worth my time. I might be persuaded to chop this video up to give the game more replay value.

5:51 — I am 36 years old and I still use this quote sometimes. "And Terry Bradshaw, not…too…happy."
Childhood memories. I played this so many times. I can almost remember all of these plays. I knew what the Good plays were
The sound effects in this game (nfl films) were of legend…back then I actually thought if you hit someone really hard you would produce the sound “BAAAAGH”
Dude! I got this for Christmas and loved it! I would watch the tape even when i didn't play the actual board game!
i had this game, we bought it from a garage sale but we never played it. My brother and I just watched the VHS tape over and over
How is this a game its all random videoclips with 0 sense of direction or logic and 0 sense of time or anything but I guess its interactive SMH!
Even better playing vcr quarterback with your video through Roku with the Roku remote
He's looking for somewhere to go???!!! Lol
OJ wonders…..where's the penalty?
Thanks! I can play this game through my chromecast and this video. I still have my vcr quarterback game but no vcr player.
@ 5:08 I wish football was still like this. It's turning into a pussy soccer match nowadays.
0:55 – I'll take "Career Ending Injuries" for 400, Alex.
Christmas gift 86 memories
Hey could you upload VCR hockey and VCR Basketball?
Wow! This brought back my childhood. I literally watched this from beginning to end as a kid. Never actually played the game. Thanks. P.S. the sound effects were everything
1:54:29–"He's knocked out of bounds…" (Payton stumbles all the way to the 49ers' bench and knocks it over) "…REALLY knocked out of bounds!"
1:37:55–Three turnovers in one play! I don't think we'll ever see anything like that again in our lifetimes.
52:04–"Thanks, Jim!" (At that moment Jim Marshall thinks, "What in the world have I done?")
16:54–"He makes the catch…OH! WHAT A HIT!!!"
10:42–A glorious moment for John Gilliam in Super Bowl IX, as Tarkenton, constantly pressured by Pittsburgh defenders, finally sees him wide open at midfield and launches him a long pass. I especially love the commentary, which really captures the emotion of the moment.
10:21–Craziest fumble recovery I've ever seen!
I loved this game! Sometimes, I would simply put in the tape and watch it all the way through to see all the plays. What was really amazing is that it had some famous plays from all 19 Super Bowls that had been played up until then.
thank you. we have been searching for this video since we do not own a VRC. very grateful for you.
